SDL Mini Comic p2

So in addition to serving as an introduction to the SDL versions of Jin and Laine, I'm planning to use these mini comics to experiment with different techniques. The grayscale/gradient thing I was doing earlier took too long and looked amateurish. Here I've used textures rather than shading to add depth. Mind you I'm still experimenting at this stage, but I'd love to hear what you guys think of this comic style.

Oh, and the old lady was heavily reference from another manga (Trigun, to be exact). I suck at drawing old people. XD
