SDL Submission

Lyra is a young woman who has somehow managed to accrue a tremendous debt. To avoid the never ending onslaught of debt collectors - some of whom seek to kill her rather than catch her - she travels across the country, making sure to never linger in one spot too long. She has dropped her surname and keeps her past hidden, presumably to stop ruthless collectors from going after her family. Lyra's slight frame and small stature belie her skills in combat. Although lacking great physical strength, Lyra's agility and cunning make her a formidable foe. Lyra usually wields an unusually sturdy parasol, but has been known to utilized a brace of throwing knives cleverly concealed beneath a strip of cloth on her right leg.

My submission for the Samurai Dueler's League.

It's a feudal version of Lyra. How fun! It's been so long since I seriously CGed anything, but I'm satisfied with how this turned out.

The patterns on her clothes were found online. I think I just did a google search for "japanese pattern." I can look up the links and add them on here later.
