Hey there ladies and gents!  Thanks for all the thoughtful comments on my last journal entry.  Even though I am kind of a frosty bitch, I do appreciate the sentiment.  I'm just...really bad at saying so.  :9

Anyway, you know how some people eat comfort food when they're feeling down?  Well, apparently I go for the comfort media, namely television shows ripped from the Saturday mornings of my youth.  Lately I've been re-watching Batman the Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Daria, and Hey Arnold (surprising amount of character development for a kids show), and really enjoying them.  Do you guys have anything familiar you usually turn to when you need a boost?

I have some business to take care of this weekend, but hopefully I'll start posting more drawings soon.  I'm also thinking of opening up commissions again, but I'd like to get my portfolio in order first.  Hmm, well, bit by bit I suppose.

I hope you're all doing well and keeping busy with your projects.

Yeah? You mean music from your childhood, or just any music you're feelin' at the moment?

Well, I guess since what I listened to in my childhood is the same thing I listen to now :<

Hahaha, hopefully that means your taste in music is timeless. XD

I just discovered Daria. ^^
Don't know Hey Arnold but I do watch batman, batman beyond (<3) and spectacular spiderman (the guy who designed the characters has a DA).
Good to hear from you again. :)

Daria cracks me up - it's so delightfully snarky! I always loved Batman TAS, but I think I appreciate Batman Beyond more now than I did when I watched it as a kid. Yay futuristic dystopia! :9 I never saw Spectacular Spiderman, but I do remember '90s Spiderman. It left something to be desired. XD

Daira's great. :D
B.Beyond when I first saw it seemed too dark but now it's one of my fav's. Sad they've both ended :(. SS is a new series and is much better than the 1994 one. XD

I watched Hey Arnold and Batman Beyond when I was just a little kid in Elementary School. Recently, I've managed to get back to Batman the Animated Series and it's amazing. Great choice of shows to watch! :D

Batman TAS is fantastic! Probably my favorite incarnation of Batman.

A LOT of people probably agree with you on this.
Too bad cartoons these days don't shift into dark territory like this particular gem. ;)
